I'm happy to say that the Kestrels are back and I've put a small 50 gallon pond on my deck, I will be buying a bird trap for the subdivision of house sparrows that raid my feeder, they are very aggressive and a non-native species, I don't want to kill them in vain, I will see if some wildlife sanctuary in my area will take them for food. So far this year ive seen off the deck:. A pair of Vultures. A pair of Redtail Hawks.
