From the rainforests of Queensland in Australia, to the mountains of New Guinea, Oceania is home to a unique set of mammals, birds and reptiles. Home to some of the world's greatest wildlife, from Bengal tigers and clouded leopards to one of our closest relatives, the orangutan, Asia offers so much. Trips here combine fantastic wildlife with ancient cultures and the ruins of former civilisations, such as Angkor Wat. The wildlife is extremely diverse, with some bizarre creatures to discover: gliding frogs and snakes, the bear-like binturong, a tree-climbing civet, and the world's longest snake, reticulated python.

In 2008 we are running trips to two of the greatest wildlife-watching countries on the planet: Costa Rica and Guyana. Costa Rica was the original eco-tourism destination, and is still one of the best. One third of the country is protected in National Parks and reserves, and the wildlife is spectacular.

Just Think Happy Thoughts

Just Think Happy Thoughts. Thursday, April 13, 2006. Do you ever get sick of hearing advertisements for new diets or diet pills? How do we know when enough is enough? Were do we draw the line?
