The Canada Lynx – wildnorthphotos

https://wildnorthphotos.wordpress.com/2016/01/26/the-canada-lynx

January 26, 2016. February 10, 2016. The Canada Lynx is one of my favourite animals to photograph, these cats can survive extremely cold winters they got big feet like snowshoes to help them walk on top of the deep snow, and they are excellent hunters with good eyesite and hearing. They got feet like snowshoes to help them walk on the snow. If you’re wondering what lenses I use for photographing Lynx, I like using a telephoto zoom lens, I find that the Sigma 150-500mm works great! Enter your comment here.

Canada Lynx Encounter – wildnorthphotos

https://wildnorthphotos.wordpress.com/2016/03/14/canada-lynx-encounter

March 14, 2016. March 14, 2016. A few years ago I was out exploring some back roads looking for wildlife to photograph near my hometown of Fort nelson B.C. When I saw this lynx he was way out on a snow covered pond, I usually see a few lynx every year but most of them always run by the time I pick up my camera, so I told my self I am not gonna let this one get away. Nikon D7100, sigma 1500-500mm lens, 1/800 sec at f6,. Nikon D7100, sigma 150-500mm lens, 1/100sec at f8,. Canada Lynx Call You Tube. You are...

Stop and Soak at Liard River Hot Springs!

http://celebratealaskahighway.com/stop-soak-liard-river-hot-springs

Stop and Soak at Liard River Hot Springs! April 6, 2016. As you begin your Alaska Highway road trip through BC and the Yukon and across the U.S. border, make sure you stop at the steamy Liard River Hot Springs. It’s at mile 475 (km 765) between Fort Nelson, BC and Watson Lake, Yukon. In addition to being an absolutely beautiful setting for a break from the drive, this is the site of the second largest natural hot springs in Canada. Mallard ducks and Canada geese also breed here. Sandpipers and common...

Welcome to the Northern Lights Space and Science Centre. November 30, 2016. Built in 1996, the Centre boasts state-of-the-art panoramic video and surround-sound systems. Yukon’s Northern Lights. A video that is broadcas...

Unforgettable Skies: Northern Lights of the Alaska Highway - The Alaska Highway

http://celebratealaskahighway.com/unforgettable-skies-northern-lights-of-the-alaska-highway

Unforgettable Skies: Northern Lights of the Alaska Highway. February 25, 2016. It’s one thing to look at other people’s photos of the Northern Lights, shot along the Alaska Highway. It’s another, entirely, to experience the Aurora Borealis yourself and photograph the neon swirls as they race across the sky at night, several miles above you. It’s an exhilarating experience you’ll never forget. What’s happening in the sky: Northern Lights demystified. Why do the Northern Lights come in different colours?
