Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Liam had a small surgery today. Just wanted to share some before and after pics. He is acting like himself, but he has a fever that we are watching. It might be after effects from the anesthesia, but we are watching it. And yes, the one handed bottle does not bode well when he gets a little older, looks a little too natural. Thursday, May 28, 2009. Chloe's 1st Adventure (a.k.a. a hike). We took Chloe and Liam for their 1st Adventure (her words). We took them for a hike and a short creek walk. Chloe had a great time, and Liam did not cry. I have to assume that means he enjoyed himself as well. Chloe thought that maybe we would see a Bear or at least baby animals on our hike. No bears, but she did see a rolly polly which she considered a baby animal, so according to her it was a success. Wednesday, May 20, 2009.

Monday, June 29, 2009. So not too much going on here. Liam just got over being sick (first time he has been sick other than ear infections). He had roseola, not fun with the fever, it go pretty high. But all is well now. Anyway, I wanted to share a couple of pictures. Gotta love the baby blues Liam has. Have a great week! Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Saturday, March 21, 2015. Korean Barbecued Beef (Kalbi). This is a recipe from one of my cookbooks called Family Feasts for $75 a Week. I served it with lettuce leaves and rice. I also forgot to add the green onions to the marinade, so I threw those in the wraps. This was really easy and very good. Serves 6 prep time:30 minutes, plus marinating overnight. 2 lbs round steak. 1/3 cup soy sauce. 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 1/4 cup lemon-lime soda. 3 cloves garlic, minced.
