A Little iAd Experiment. I love reading other developers’ breakdowns of app stats, so here goes an attempt to be open about one of my apps, Tides US. I released Tides US over one year ago (on the 9th January 2013) and it’s time I actually showed it some love. Currently Tides US is bringing in about $1 NZD a day. Open Source NZ Herald App. Copied from the readme. I wanted to play around with a Medium style article/parallax view, UIPageViewController and custom UIViewController transitions, and then this happened. A subjectively more enjoyable way to browse the NZHerald on your iPhone. As this isn’t endoresed (at all) by the NZ Herald, I’ve open sourced it on GitHub. So you can compile it yourself. I’ve just released a Hoist iOS library. Are a Wellington based startup that’s been recieving a lot. I’m really interested in what they are doing, and expect great things from them even though they have a few big competitors in the Platform-as-a-Service space. ( Parse.com. As it’s so close to home, I’ve taken some time to have a play around with the beta. The last few nights I’ve put a little something together for any iOS developers out there that might be interested in Hoist.

Back to Tides NZ. How do I add a location to 'Your Ports'? Tap the ' ' button to show the Ports Map, Ports List and the Settings screen. Tap on a map pin, or a location in the list to add it to your ports. I prefer 12 hour time. Thats cool, in the settings there is a switch that allows you to toggle between 24 and 12 hour times.
