Friday, January 25, 2013. Wahoo, we made it to friday! Can i get an AMEN? I realize that "cherish" can sound a little flowery and that mamas everywhere (myself included) have a very. Hard time cherishing the poopy diapers, 5 am wake-ups, endless laundry, and dirty kitchen floors. it is hard to cherish the bank account that is too small at the end of the month and the lack of you. Tuesday, July 30, 2013. With less than a month left in our summer, we are doing our best to soak up every day. this past saturday was no exception! Shane had a race saturday morning, but to him it wasn't a "big" one, it was a mere 22.5 miles :). it was a trail run which is totally different from a road race. he took a pic on the trail and this is what it looks like.can you imagine trying to run over roots and rocks like this for over 20 miles? Back to school week here on tahoe trail, and by far our easiest transition back to school for sophie. she got the teacher she wanted and her BFF lorelei in her class AGAIN, and seriously so far has not uttered one complaint about school.
