Tuesday, November 29, 2005. I'm here in my brother's old room at home because my friend R has taken over my own room. We went out last night and had a most pleasant time while she was quietly getting drunker and drunker. She didn't do anything obscene, she just kept yelling, "I am SO DRUNK! Well, an old friend from school told me that my FORMER crush is apparently acting really strange and has some sort of internet girlfriend that he RUSHES home to e-mail every night. *sigh*. Gladys is here to vacuum now!

Some Capetonians say 'lank,' as in, 'I was lank hungry so I got the Steers super combo (or whatever).' I don't say lank. South Africans say 'hey' a lot, to mean, 'don't you think? So they would say, 'Shoo it's windy, hey? Demanding the response, 'it sure is! How embarrasing for you. You should be embarrsed! Or just the feeling brought on by guilt or remorse. The growing trend amongst (straight!

Tuesday, February 28, 2006. 5 (very) loosely connected pictures. or rather 5 absolutely random pictures. This is my room today. I realise the picture's bad, but if you can't tell, my room is a mess. (I should never have started cleaning it.) I've just come home from being out. Yes, obviously you have to go out to come home. What I mean is that it's a bit late. I feel depressed or maybe a bit sad. I think. Post, The Thin Line, describes it nicely. This is my cousin Simon who is one of my. From when I went...

Today We pay for parking and yet we all have to park in one long line. Has anyone ever heard of this? And he yelled back, "I CAN'T, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! And I yelled down, "OH YOU BIG BABY, I'M COMING - JUST WAIT! And obviously I assumed he knew I was just being. I did say, "It's really not a problem, I wasn't being serious.". 3 of the 5 ...

Thursday, March 16, 2006. So I met that guy in Westminster. The interview was great but the job is awful. The guy has been trying to phone me all day but thank goodness I have been out. I told him I had accepted another offer. Yes, I LIED. I am so cold. I've just been to check out another room. This one was quite nice and the girl seemed lovely, but I don't know what to do. Do I start paying rent before I have a job? Do I start temping till I hear about the other job? By the way any advice is welcome!

Tuesday, December 27, 2005. Last night was weird and not so good. My boy crush was with another girl with the same name as me. And I got too drunk. This morning I had the worst hangover of my life, ever! I've never had such a headache, I could hardly move. Today I started sorting out some of my stuff for Taiwan. I am so unbelievably. I might go to a place called Hsinchu, which I know nothing of, so I need to start reading up. SO excited! Posted by Soffy O at 4:20 AM. Sunday, December 25, 2005. Having a g...
