The life and times of Cleve, Alicia, Bryson and Macie. Monday, July 27, 2015. Bryson and Jaxsen played each other in a baseball tournament….they both were number 2 and both missing their two front teeth! We enjoyed our time with the Schreiners! http://familybrunson.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
The life and times of Cleve, Alicia, Bryson and Macie. Friday, July 31, 2015. What a wonderful vacation we had in Cozumel! The water was SO beautiful, the clearest I've ever seen! The joy of the beach. The Brunson crew spent the first part of our vacation with us, we had the best time! All the kiddos eating at the restaurant we had our rehearsal dinner nearly 10 years ago. The boys went on a fishing trip and came home with a big big smile on their faces….it was a successful trip! The kids loved the show.

RedBirdBlue: June 2014
http://redbird-blue.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 10, 2014. We had Grady's 5th birthday party at our house this weekend and it looked like rain was in the forecast.resulting in us scrambling to get the attic floor painted (& dry enough to handle 11 kids) in a matter of two nights. Plus get all of the tools, furniture, and misc stuff cleared out of the space, as well as hang curtains. Spoiler: we did it! I'll post about Grady's party later. For right now I'll share a few snaps of the attic in all of it's empty glory! The stairs up to the at...

RedBirdBlue: October 2013

Friday, October 25, 2013. Haunted Halloween Doll House. A week or two ago I saw this Haunted Dolls House. On the Mr. Printables website and knew that Grady would love it. I also knew that I wanted to make one and had a ton of ideas on how to tweak and personalize it! Meet this motley crew of spooks and ghouls! Grady and I both love the kitty best. I even painted a Grady peg doll dressed up in his Lone Ranger Halloween costume and surprised him with it this morning! Good thing he's got his 6-shooter along!

RedBirdBlue: December 2013
http://redbird-blue.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 26, 2013. Originally I had hoped to have the attic done (or nearly done) by Christmas - HA! We seem to always underestimate the amount of time it will actually take to complete things. I need to remember that we all have full-time jobs, and I have a part-time job. When you only have a couple of hours a few nights a week, things tend to not happen very quickly! My old softball coach used to tell us, "Inch by inch it's a cinch.yard by yard it's hard". He'd be happy that we're mov...We're...

RedBirdBlue: July 2014
http://redbird-blue.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 24, 2014. Grady's been obsessed with dinosaurs for a while now, so it wasn't hard to come up with a theme for his birthday party this year. He was so excited for all of his friends to come over that he literally waited by the window for a solid hour. Then he waited on the front steps for another half hour. :) I love him so much. We drug a table and our dining room benches up to the bedroom (since it wasn't yet furnished), and set up food and games in there. His "big" gift was a basketball ...

RedBirdBlue: Our Home
http://redbird-blue.blogspot.com/p/our-home.html
Most of the rooms in our house are still in progress.I'm not sure that I'd call any of them done. I always joke that the only time I lived in a "finished" house while growing up was right before we moved - when all of the projects HAD to be done! I have a feeling that my house will be that way too.there's always room for tweaking, and it's something that I enjoy doing so much. Below are before and. The living room is still very much a work in progress too. Recent additions are a new tv stand and whit...

RedBirdBlue: February 2014
http://redbird-blue.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 10, 2014. This weekend we hadn't quite worked up the energy to start mudding the landing area in the attic, but since Grady requested to "create" something, we decided to tackle his Valentines. Lo and behold.the Valentine's Day message board! This polar vortex will be the death of me.brrr.grrr.brrr. The remaining log did make a great stool for Grady to lounge on in the shop though, so it wasn't a total loss. (How tall does he look here? Or perhaps a necklace? We thought the back would be...
