A US Department of Labor Web Site. Job Corps pays each student a living allowance twice a month while in the program. But just like a real job, taxes are deducted from this allowance. Since our center is a non-residential center, we do not offer any on-campus housing. Because our students have to commute to our campus, we do offer transportation assistance to those who qualify. Our students are provided two nutritious meals each day at no cost in one of the best cafeteria facilities in Job Corps.
