Traveler and sail shape. This project to replace the cutlass bearing was compleated in March of 2011. Here are the tools I used to complete this project:. 1 - 22mm socket from Ace Hardware. 1 - 1/2" threaded rod 12" long. 4 - 1/2" nuts. 8 - large 1/2" washers. 1 - 1-1/2" x 4" pipe nipple.

A BIG thank you has to go out to MaineSail, on the SailBoatOwners forum, for his How-To's [ Compass Marine. Galley sink outlet 1-1/2". Raw water intake 3/4".

This is the 1-1/2" Bronze Thru hull with one side ground flat to fit into the location of the original one. Here is what it looked like when I was done. This is the view from inside.
