The original recipe to this is a pretty typical recipe for a German Chocolate Cake (and by that I mean a chocolate cake as we bake them in Germany). They are a lot more dense than the chocolate cake you get here. I took the original recipe, cut the sugar by 50 grams and added Flax seed. My husband and I and even my picky kids all really enjoyed the results. Let it cool....

Sunday, January 18, 2009. So, being a true german I guess its about time to post a Schitzel recipe. Well here it goes. Pork Steaks (or chops, or sliced loin or sliced roast). Plain Panco Bread Crumbs. Egg to dip meat before breading. Flatten meat to about 1/2 inch thickness, season with some salt and pepper. Dip flattened meat in egg, then generously in panco breadcrumbs. Saturday, February 21, 2009. 1 large Salmon filet. 1/4 cup melted butter. 3 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard. 1 1/2 Tablespoon Honey. Salt, pepper, garlic powder. Preheat oven to 400degrees. Put the salmon filet, skin side down, on a foil lined baking sheet. Sprinkle some salt, pepper and garlic powder on it. Mix butter with mustard and honey, stir until it is all well mixed, nice and creamy. Pour the mixture on top of the salmon and spread it out all over so the whole salmon is covered. 1 lbs lean ground beef.
