Turner Blogcast Station: May 2015

Thursday, May 7, 2015. 20 Months and change. Ok, let's not kid ourselves and pretend I wrote this at 18 months and "forgot" to publish it. I am a slacker, and life has been busy, and I just haven't felt like writing. But man, oh man! Time is a-flyin' by, and this little gal has grown so much these past few months, I need to document it! At her 18 month visit in February, she was 20lbs, 8 oz and 30.25 inches. Better now than when she's in school. Baby girl loves her food! She basically eats whatever we ea...

Turner Blogcast Station: January 2015
http://turnerblogcast.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 12, 2015. 16 month photo. because I'm a slacker and didn't get her 15 month photo in time. Since the changes aren't coming quite as fast and furious as they did during her first year, I'm going to update every 3 months or so. However, we've seen SO much developmental growth these past few months, it will be hard to document everything! My girl IS a talker! Thank goodness. Being able to give her peanut butter sandwiches will make lunch time so much easier! She loves all music, all the time...

Turner Blogcast Station: 10 Months
http://turnerblogcast.blogspot.com/2014/07/10-months.html
Monday, July 7, 2014. We will have to wait until her 12 mo. appointment to get all the stats again, but we had to take baby girl in to the clinic shortly after her 10 mo birthday, so we got a weight on her. Calista is a whopping 16 lbs. 7 oz! Callie was a healthy, bouncing baby girl all through her 10th month! No reflux, no sickness, just a happy girl. Callie also gets 2-3 long naps a day. She goes down for naps around 9am, 1pm, and 4:30pm, and her naps usually last between 1-2 hours. But I love the litt...

Turner Blogcast Station: July 2014
http://turnerblogcast.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. It is getting nearly impossible to get a photo of C in that chair! We weighed her both on our bathroom scale and the Schlyper bathroom scale, and she came in at 18 lbs at our house, and 18.6 lbs at their house. So she's gained weight and percentiles and is now somewhere between 13th and 16th percentile! Calista is still fitting nicely in her 6 month clothes, which is good because I have soooooo many adorable clothes in that size, and I don't feel like I got to use them all enough!

Turner Blogcast Station: 30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 1 - Self Portrait
http://turnerblogcast.blogspot.com/2014/10/30-day-photo-challenge-day-1-self.html
Monday, October 20, 2014. 30 Day Photo Challenge: Day 1 - Self Portrait. So I'm starting a 30-day photo challenge with my friend Annie to get me out of my comfort level and get me practicing with some of the settings outside my comfort level on my new DSLR camera. We will share pictures on Instagram or Facebook, but I also wanted to document here as well so I could remember what obstacles I was dealing with when choosing different settings. Day 1 - A Self Portrait. For the photo in the mirror, I set the ...

Turner Blogcast Station: December 2013
http://turnerblogcast.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 27, 2013. We've made it through 4 months of parenthood! This past month has been really fun. She's woken up to the world. She smiles and socializes and we even heard her laugh once! Weight: 11 lbs 5 oz -14th percentile. Height: 24.5 inches - 58th percentile. Head circumference: 40.5 cm - 35th percentile. Fitting nicely in the 0-3 month and 3 month clothes. She's a bit wee for her age, so she's not in the 3-6 month clothes yet. I think those won't be used for a few months yet. ErgoBaby, h...

Friday, January 24, 2014. 8220;Fifty years," I hackneyed, "is a long time.". Not when you're looking back at them," she said. "You wonder how they vanished so quickly.”. 8213; Isaac Asimov, I, Robot. If I had a box just for wishes. And dreams that had never come true. The box would be empty. Except for the memory. Of how they were answered by you. But there never seems to be enough time. To do the things you want to do. Once you find them. I've looked around enough to know. My box for wishes and dreams i...
