This is one of those things that appear to be a revelation at the time, but feel absurdly obvious when you think about it. I want to talk about the education bubble of the 1960s. There seem to have been at least two sources of this bubble, the G.I. Bill of the 1940s (1) and the policies of the Kennedy and Johnson administrations (2).
