Monday, July 2, 2012. You can use your waffle maker to make completely lovely, lick the plate clean ice cream sandwiches. Well it's easy. All you need is a box of cake mix. I followed the directions on the back, making only one change. I used 1/2 cup less water than called for on the box. Cooked up a bunch of super chocolatey waffles and sandwiched some homemade french vanilla ice cream in the middle. So much better than the store bought ones. Labels: In The Kitchen.
