Ten years ago, Susan resumed her teaching career and Dan began to focus on raising beef calves. He now sells grass-fed beef at Farmers' Markets and in bulk packages. In 2008, the Ports sold a conservation easement on the farm to the Sacramento Valley Conservancy to preserve it forever. The purchase was funded by the California Farmland Conservancy Program. We sell at Farmers' Markets in Sacramento and Rancho Cordova. We sell at two Farmers' Markets in the Sacramento area. 1 The Rancho Cordova Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings at Sunrise and Folsom Boulevards in the lightrail parking lot. 2 The Downtown Market at 5th and W Streets on Sunday mornings. Both markets run from 8:00 to 12:00 noon all year. We accept cash or checks. Ground Beef $6.25/lb. Chuck, Rump, and Crossrib roasts $7.50/lb. Stew or Fajita/Stir Fry Strips $7.50/lb.

Sold Out Until Further Notice. See "How To Buy" For More Information. We usually have pre-cut USDA inspected split-halves in stock. They average 85 lbs and require about 5 cu ft of freezer space. What is a split-half? A split-half consists of all the cuts in a half (or side) of beef divided in two. So, you are not getting a front quarter or hind quarter, but a proportional mixture of all the cuts. About 1/3 is ground beef and the rest will be a mix of roasts and steaks. How is it packaged?
