June 7, 2015. Yes, that's a double happy birthday to two special kiddos- Elizabeth and Peter! Though their birthdays are 11 days apart, they often share a party. Because. Easier. And, they share the same Godparents so it just works out well that way. Elizabeth had no idea what she wanted for her eighth birthday cake this year, so roses it was. July 24, 2015. Of course, we waited until nearly the last minute to start painting. Elizabeth took half and I took half and the process actually went pretty quickly. May 5, 2015. Elizabeth celebrated her First Communion this past Sunday. The weather turned out absolutely perfect which just magnifies the beauty of the occasion. She was a wee bit nervous and a whole lot of excited. Our parish includes a part where they light baptismal candles to signify the link between Baptism and Holy Communion (and then later, Confirmation). Two of the very few pictures we took during Mass. Afterwards, with our priest Father Kemper. Super girls to the rescue! We are proud of you!
