And then you were one…. And then you were one… Our sweet, darling, beautiful babe is one year old and it makes me feel so emotional. At the beginning of this year I became a mother. I could write all those cliche things;. I never knew a love like this, it’s the greatest challenge I’ve ever faced, my daughter is my greatest joy, I’m exhausted, I’m in awe. The list goes on and on and you’ve heard them all, and they are all profound understatements. Trips, company, and camping, we were busy, busy, busy!

December 3, 2015. Friends have been emailing and texting the last few weeks, worried that something was terribly wrong with me, or with us. Please be assured that everything is wonderful around here. Wednesday, July 11, 2012. I'm a BIG fan of brows. I like them thick and luscious yet defined and symmetrical. It's taken me years (and I mean years. Since I was 14 - and I'm now 28.) of experimenting with various methods of shaping my brows and just last year I settled on my preferred method of eyebrow epilation - threading. Wednesday, March 20, 2013. One Page at a Time. It isn't real. It just isn't. I'm just dreaming, right? I look around me. No, this is no dream. This is it. I'm home. After nearly seven months, I'm home. 4 hours and I made it to Korea, waited 7 and 1/2 hours there, and then flew 10 hours to Seattle and spent 2 hours getting through customs in the US. Altogether, a rather uneventful, and good first solo experience. Culture shock, you ask? My mind goes back. I remember. And a beautiful experience, on this end.
