Just hope he will prioritise his stuffs. understand he needs to meet his friends. however, hope he will strike a balance somehow. the way he phrased his sentences over msn today, he is fed up(not sure is it due to me or his stuff). hope he appreciates my good intentions but i really do not know whether he does. :(. Marvin's Arts and Stuff: June 2009
http://marvinchew.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Marvin's Arts and Stuff. I sketch, I paint, I photograph. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Kampong Lorong Buangkok, Singapore. Ere's a latest work I did last week, depicting the last kampong (means "village" in Malay) in Singapore. I fell in love with the rural and laid back lifestyle there when I first visited the place many years ago. I went back again in March this year and took several reference photos. and I finally got down to paint it recently. And here are some close-up shots of the painting.

Marvin's Arts and Stuff: Plein Air ~ Holland Village, Singapore
http://marvinchew.blogspot.com/2011/05/plein-air-holland-village-singapore.html
Marvin's Arts and Stuff. I sketch, I paint, I photograph. Monday, May 30, 2011. Plein Air Holland Village, Singapore. Am now a regular member of the Urban Sketchers Singapore group. We'd organised sketchwalks every last Saturday of the month. Usually, I'd do a few sketches and/or line and wash works during these outing. But this time, I decided to do a half-sheet plein air watercolour since I haven't done so far a while. Yours truly painting on location outside Holland Village hawker center.

Marvin's Arts and Stuff: Watercolour Demo
http://marvinchew.blogspot.com/2011/07/watercolour-demo.html
Marvin's Arts and Stuff. I sketch, I paint, I photograph. Sunday, July 10, 2011. Was invited to do a watercolour demonstration at a private function last week. Only given 2 hours to complete the demo, I was rushing against time. Although I managed to complete the painting, on hindsight, I should have chosen a simpler subject to paint but still pretty satisfied that it was well-received by the participants. Studio at the Farm. Marvin, I so much enjoy your blog, especially WIP. Chan Chang How's Watercolours.

Like millions of viewers worldwide, I watched with horror last Friday, the destruction caused by an earthquake, measuring 8.9 on the Richter scale and the resulting tsunami, which wreaked havoc across Japan's coastal areas. Death toll are now in the thousands and many are injured and missing. Following the efforts by my friends Keiko Tanabe. Via Google's crisis response site. To find out more.
