Family is the key to unlocking the potential of deaf children. 80% of deaf children are born into families with no experience of hearing loss. So we provide local support to families of newly diagnosed deaf children. We help parents with the costs of learning British Sign Language. Children can be positive about being deaf. Over 300 raised at Cake Sale. A big thank you and well done to Joanne Speakman and Laura Anderson who raised over 300 yesterday at Iceland Chorley with their cake sale. Thanks also go to Katie O'Reilly, Jodie Telford and Claire, Lori and Maria Rushton who raised 250 last weekend packing bags in Iceland, Bolton. Finally, thanks to Iceland for allowing us to fundraise. Our coffee morning has made the news! We have been covered in the Leigh Journal. Tell us what you think of our new logo on our facebook page.
