Women of Note presents Magnificent Magnificat featuring Kim André Arnesen's beautiful Magnificat, as well as a Christmas review of delightful and somewhat cheeky arrangements of a more secular Christmas repertoire. Will take place on. Tuesday September 6, 2016. Tuesday January 10, 2017. At Balmoral Hall School or by special appointment with the Director. WoN Chorale auditions include the singing of O Canada. Vocal exercises and ear tests. Auditionees for WoN Chamber Singers will be. Required to sing 2 contrasting pieces (an accompanist will be available so please bring copies of your selections), some vocal exercises. And a sight reading test. The Women of Note Choir provides an opportunity for women to come together and make beautiful music, develop musicianship and vocal/choral excellence in a high-caliber performance choir, and foster friendship among choristers. An ensemble of 50 voices for women who have varying levels of choral skills and limited time to dedicate to.
