ABOUT – wonderingwing

https://wonderingwing.wordpress.com/about/comment-page-1

Observations on life and moments suspended in time. Hi, my name is Wingshun! Yes, ‘Wing’ like chicken wings. A daydreamer, cat lover, chocolate eater, and undergrad from Vancouver studying translation/French in Toronto, Canada. Since then, I’ve become irresistibly drawn to the transient feeling of airports, of taking off to somewhere fresh, and fascinated by the places/cultures/languages of the world that I haven’t yet experienced. Saying Au Revoir – wonderingwing

https://wonderingwing.wordpress.com/2016/06/19/on-goodbyes/comment-page-1

Observations on life and moments suspended in time. June 19, 2016. June 25, 2016. Like letters in the sand, time washes over everything. There’s nothing to do but keep the memories. 2016 Wingshun Pang. One of the hardest things about travelling is saying goodbye. As I face the end of 5 weeks spent living and studying in Québec, I wanted to share my thoughts on it with you. Or maybe I am just kidding myself. The keyboard is still wet with tears as I edit this.). How do you deal with farewells? Personally,...

Observations on life and moments suspended in time. 365 Days Away From School and What I Learned. October 23, 2015. February 5, 2016. The future…a murky darkness hovering perpetually at the edge of the present. 2015 Wingshun Pang. Senior year. You remember it, don’t you? Curious, confused, careening towards Graduation and The Real World with hopeful hearts and bewildered eyes. Mostly confused, right? Bombarded with the well-meaning yet panic-inducing question, “What are you doing after graduation? Didn&#...

Falling in Love… with a Sailboat – Vancouver Island, Canada – The Adventures of Miss Miral

https://eowynmiral.wordpress.com/2016/02/03/falling-in-love-with-a-sailboat-vancouver-island-canada

The Adventures of Miss Miral. February 3, 2016. February 25, 2016. Falling in Love with a Sailboat – Vancouver Island, Canada. I couldn’t believe it. The words that had just come out of my dad’s mouth, they made no sense. Could it be? Did he just say. What’s not to like? What’s not to like? I couldn’t have been more amazed (and happy) if the truck we were driving in had abruptly morphed into a sparkly eyed pegasus brandishing the sword of Gryffindor. We had had enough. It didn’t turn out to be much of a ...

Guilt Free Ice Cream – sarahcampbellblog

https://sarahcampbellblog.wordpress.com/2016/02/03/guilt-free-ice-cream

A collection of beautiful thoughts, pictures and information. Guilt Free Ice Cream. February 3, 2016. Whenever people find out I’m a vegan, with a gluten allergy who doesn’t eat processed foods or refined sugar, I get the same horrified look with the begging question of, “WHAT DO YOU EAT? I can assure you when I say, nature has always got it right! This has got to be one of my favorite recipes ever, as I grew up eating ice cream with my dad every night on the couch! 8211; 1 cup raw cashews. Cup raw cacao...

Wondering Willow

Life, Motherhood and Everything In-Between. Sunday, 26 July 2015. And the Winner is . Yesterday was a good day. We all drove up to Avalon to see the best evil step mother in the world. Had a bite to eat and then afterwards we popped to the park to let the kids run of some energy. Bec came up with a game to help them exhaust themselves. The kids had to run an obstacle course that entailed running down the hill and stairs, around the bins, over the climbing frame at the park, and back up the hill. Especial...

Observations on life and moments suspended in time. Workaway: An Alternative Way to Travel and Is It for You? October 30, 2015. When I chose solo travel to Taiwan for the first time, I chose slow travel. I chose Workaway. If you’re interested in budget travelling, you might’ve heard the term circling the annals of the Internet, glimpsed on LonelyPlanet forums, or shyly nestled among Reddit backpacking threads. If you haven’t, read on! But What Is It? 365 Days Away From School and What I Learned. One of t...

Wondering Winterstein

Friday, May 27, 2016. I was seeded in wave 3 of 4 launches. Off the start line I began at a moderate pace, breathing deeply the air and realization that the moment I had trained 6 months for was at last here. Commence this outstanding bucket list item. Pace yourself and take it ALL in. The first 5k was a radical pitch of a corkscrew leading us straight uphill. Give high fives and ask for autographs. Stop being a wimp. Oh love," she replied, "let me buy you one! Like I really care. Here! So that I did, wi...

Saturday, August 25, 2012. Almost a Year and Still in Doubt. It's been almost a year since I have posted here last. I had been meaning to do so for a while, but kept putting it off. It's been a rough year for me inwardly as I had struggled with my depression and anxiety issues. Good self esteem and confidence have always seem another step away as I go on this entire year continuing to discover who I really am. Sunday, September 11, 2011. I know I'm a day late. Ended up forgetting. To let their tears fall...

Wondering Witchy Eye | This is real life… NOT Hollywood

This is real life… NOT Hollywood. My books of reference and use. My General Altar/ Spell/ Ritual tools. The witch behind the blog. Why I don’t follow the rede. I’ve been told a few times that I’m an affront to pagans because I don’t follow the Rede. I used to think it was just newbies, but then I learned that it was also coming from “well seasoned” pagans from various paths and witches who haven’t learned to differentiate between and Wiccan practices that a witch chooses to use and Wicca. The Rede itself...

Wright Travels

Saturday, December 31, 2016. Wandering With The Wrights. It has been almost a month since the last blog - how time flies! We had two more weeks on our NOMADS Mission Project in Ray City, GA. We replaced 12 very old windows and each one had to be custom fitted. The guys did a wonderful job removing, replacing, sawing and trimming the windows. The ladies removed nails, caulked, primed, removed nails, painted, washed and did I mention removed a lot of nails! We passed this house every day - looks like a two...
