About Wooden Union
http://woodenunion.com/about
Hi, my name is Adam. I live in Indiana with my amazing wife, Nicki. I also have two live-in, furry shop assistants named Bear and Bella. I’ve been a self-employed web developer for most of my adult life and a wanna-be woodworker since 2011. Wooden Union is the (hopefully) beautiful intersection of those two things, and is my way of documenting my woodworking journey. You can sign up for free membership. Details below) or follow me on Twitter.

Hand Plane Rack
http://woodenunion.com/two-minute-tips/hand-plane-rack
I rarely use hand planes, but they are extremely handy when I do need to use them. Since I don’t use them all the time, they tend to get lost in the clutter in my shop. When I do need to use one, I end up searching for 10 minutes just to find it. I have a Stanley Bailey No. 7, a Stanley Bailey No. 5, and a Stanley Sweetheart block plane. I built a rack for these out of scraps, and now they’re hanging on the wall in my shop. Check out the video below. Built by Adam Baird.
The Legacy Frame
http://woodenunion.com/projects/the-legacy-frame
I had three photos of my dad and my grandpa on the wall in my shop for a while now. My grandpa, Jack Hannes, owned an auto repair shop in Auburn, Indiana and ran a small, local racing team as a hobby. My dad worked at the shop for a while and started driving for my Grandpa sometime around the time I was born in the early to mid eighties. My grandpa passed away when I was three, so I’m not totally clear on the timeline. Built by Adam Baird. Adam lives in northern Indiana with his wife and two dogs in a ho...

Wooden You Know
This is a woodworking site with emphasis on practice of the hobby and expressions with wood. None of these projects are perfect and one should accept the imperfections in the wood and the craftsmanship. Woodworking isn't a difficult hobby. It does require a lot of thought, patience, due diligence and reasonably good materials. Most projects have been drawn with some level of detail prior to commencement. Good luck with your woodworking ventures! Follow us on twitter. Find us on Facebook. Another feature ...
WoodenUKnow Woodworking (It's WOODEN, you know!)
I'm hoping this site will be both informative on matters of scroll sawing and intarsia and entertaining in viewing my creations, some of which will be of my own original designs. This is currently a PERSONAL website. I do not offer for sale any of the wooden items I make.yet. But, in a year or so, I may, and I wanted to be prepared with my own domain. You can also visit my other arts, crafts, humor and stamp collecting pages at Sunny's Rainbow. If you run into a dead link, email me. It's full of patterns...
Wooden's World of Baseball
Wooden's World of Baseball. Tuesday, October 05, 2010. It's The Loudoun Hounds. In my less-than-frequent meanderings here, a common topic was the proposed team in Loudoun County for the Atlantic League. Without further ado, it's the Loudoun County Hounds. As I semi-suspected, this development has breathed new life into the Potomac Nationals quest for a new stadium. This almost makes me wonder if they're looking for a fail-safe option if there are delays in the building of the new stadium in Loudoun County.
