Cattails Quilts: A Feline Frolicking in Fabric: Celtic Solstice progress
http://cattailsquilts.blogspot.com/2014/01/celtic-solstice-progress.html
Sunday, January 12, 2014. I got step 1 of Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice. Mystery done, and now I'm on to step 2! The instructions for the mystery are based on strip cutting with rulers, but I am trying a new (to me) toy. I finally bought an AccuQuilt Go! Today the quilt group I manage is meeting, so I plan to work on the step 2 blocks. We'll see if Mr. Tank lets me sew, though. Daddy is on a business trip and won't be home until late tonight, so the Tankster has to go with me. Have a great one, people!

Cattails Quilts: A Feline Frolicking in Fabric: Digging out
http://cattailsquilts.blogspot.com/2014/02/digging-out.html
Tuesday, February 18, 2014. From piles of fabric, that is! I am trying to get things worked on around the studio. I am doing more art and craft shows this year, I hope it pays off. I also have more bookkeeping clients to support this year, so time is definitely at a premium. Big news, though- I finally got a new quilting machine! It's a 16" Crystal Quilter, and is a brand new machine! Posted by Elaine Sims. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Visit cattailsquilts's ArtFire Shop. Find me on Facebook.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Over on Quilting Gallery. Mishka sponsors a weekly themed quilt contest. This week's theme is teddy bears, which of course means I absolutely must enter this little cutie. Teddy Bear Dress-up was a gift for my cousin H (seen in this post. On Friday, please go back to the contest page. And vote for my quilt! Thanks for stopping by! Posted by Eli, Cattails Quilts. Tuesday, September 14, 2010. Still alive and kicking! So our little man is now 4 months old! I've gotten a little...

Cattails Quilts: A Feline Frolicking in Fabric: Broken Photos
http://cattailsquilts.blogspot.com/2011/09/broken-photos.html
Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Yes, I know, I broke my blog. :( I tried to move my blog from my personal account to the one specific to Cattails Quilts, and when moving my photos, it broke the links. Oopsie. I will go back and fix them, once I can figure out which photos went where. I'm sorry folks! But check out the galleries at Picassa. Because the photos are all there. I'm still working on projects, my current one is a Block of the Month from a LiveJournal community I manage, Block of the Month. My Road ...

Cattails Quilts: A Feline Frolicking in Fabric: October 2010
http://cattailsquilts.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 11, 2010. When going through boxes of my sewing supplies, I found a box my grandmother had sent to me, easily 4 or 5 years ago. I never really looked through the blocks until now, and I'm sharing them with you. First, there are 5 blocks that must have been from a swap, as they are all labeled with the maker's name. I will finish this one up, but am concerned about machine piecing it (I don't do handsewing unless absolutely necessary). Quite a find, isn't it? Posted by Eli, Cattails Quilts.

Cattails Quilts: A Feline Frolicking in Fabric: And away we sew!
http://cattailsquilts.blogspot.com/2012/06/and-away-we-sew.html
Thursday, June 21, 2012. And away we sew! Progress is slow going on the quilt I have loaded in the new frame. Unfortunately, I am having tension issues with my machine, and they have me beating my head against the wall! I have to get it sorted out quickly, though, as I just took in a quilting order that needs to be done by mid July. Time is more than enough, assuming I can get the machine cooperating again! Scrappy Quilting IRR 2010-2011, 'Bug's Star' is hopefully going to be finished soon. :). A great C...

Cattails Quilts: A Feline Frolicking in Fabric: May 2011
http://cattailsquilts.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 7, 2011. Once again, I haven't posted in quite a while, but it is what it is. Life has been busy, between starting a part time job (I am a freelance bookkeeper along with being a full time mom and quilter), S working on her science fair project (comparing how peas grow in different environments) and hubby losing his job last month (economic recovery my arse). I returned to my languishing Shaklee products, and I have to ask myself why I ever stopped using them! Oh, my poor sink. The prev...
