WoollyMamas: Quick Mini Shopper!

http://woollymamas.blogspot.com/2007/10/quick-mini-shopper.html

Thursday, 4 October 2007. I had some spare time this afternoon and a bunch of wool left over from other projects so I thought to myself, why not make a little bag? And the mini shopper was born! It didn't take long, maybe 2 hours plus felting time. It was dead easy, if you fancy having a go yourself here's the pattern. About 150g pure wool aran weigh (I used hand dyed BFL aran). 1 treble in 3rd chain from hook. 1 treble into each chain to end. Turn. For the handles (make 2):. One felted mini shopper!

Mrs Flowerpot: Woven Eyelet Scarf

http://mrsflowerpot.blogspot.com/2010/02/woven-eyelet-scarf.html

Wednesday, 3 February 2010. I treated myself to some gorgeous Babylonglegs Radiance recently. I used it to knit a pair of longies for my Flowerpot Tots. Store and I used what was left to make myself a new scarf. I fell in love with woven stitch a while ago, I don't know why more people don't use it, I love the texture and drape it has, it is so easy to do and it looks that little bit different from normal crochet. Mrs Flowerpot: Sari Silk Bag Pattern

http://mrsflowerpot.blogspot.com/2009/07/sari-silk-bag-pattern.html

Wednesday, 29 July 2009. Sari Silk Bag Pattern. I wrote this pattern a few years ago. I set up a knitting website called The Knitting Room but it never really got off the ground. I've long since closed the website but the pattern was linked on Ravelry. So I kept the file on my webspace. After a recent (and rather annoying) malware attack I was forced to tidy up my files so I've moved the pattern here. Enjoy! Sari Silk Bag PDF. Mrs Flowerpot: April 2015

http://mrsflowerpot.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html

Monday, 20 April 2015. Magenta Tartan Granny Square Blanket. I love making granny square blankets but sometimes they look a bit old fashioned. I'd seen other people do tartan and plaid style blankets so I thought I'd give it a go myself. To make it look like tartan the trick is to use two main colours that produce another shade where the lines meet. For my blanket I chose magenta and teal with purple cross over squares on a neutral grey background. Stylecraft Special DK 100g. S - silver (grey). I finishe...

Mrs Flowerpot: April 2012

http://mrsflowerpot.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 17 April 2012. I've written a novel! I'm not quite sure how it happened but I've written a novel. I know it sounds daft to have written a whole book by accident but that is how it happened. When my husband went away for a long weekend RC car racing in January I had an idea for a story so I started writing, and writing, and I didn't stop until I'd got about 93 thousand words! Mrs Flowerpot: FREE Shorties and Longies Pattern

http://mrsflowerpot.blogspot.com/2008/08/free-shorties-and-longies-pattern.html

Monday, 4 August 2008. FREE Shorties and Longies Pattern. I've decided to share my DK shorties and Longies pattern with the world. I wrote it a few years ago and it's been through a few minor changes since then but it's very easy to do and it works. It's great for beginner knitters as it's knitted flat (no scary double pins or kitchener grafting! And being flat it means you can easily work cute intarsia designs or add embroidery to make an extra special pair of woollies. I hope you enjoy it! Fab pattern,...

Friday, 17 October 2014. The Big Knit - Mrs Flowerpot's Crochet Hat Pattern. For the past few years I've donated cute little hats for Innocent Smoothies The Big Knit. For each little hat sold they make a donation to Age UK. I enjoy knitting but my first love is crochet so I made up my own crochet pattern for hats and I thought I'd share it with you. The Big Knit - Crochet Hat Pattern. Round 1: Start with a magic loop, make 6dc into the loop. Pull it closed and join with a slip stitch into the first dc.

Woolly Mamas | Knitting Bags Designed by Knitters for Knitters

Knitting Bags Designed by Knitters for Knitters. March 5, 2010 by Woolly Mamas. We are off to Skip North next weekend for a whole load of knitterly goodness. We are both super excited by the prospect of meeting new people, yarn shopping and of course, a few blissful hours just to sit and knit. Personally I’ll be taking my Riviera knitting bag with me. Lots of room for a couple of projects, everything tidied away neatly for the trip…. Posted in knitting events. Just a quick update. Sneaking a few rows bef...
