Ground Beef Stroganoff

A place to balance work and being a mommy. 1 pounds of lean ground beef or ground turkey. 1 teaspoon salt (usually just a pinch). 1 can of cream of mushroom soup. 1 cup sour cream. Combine meat, flour, salt, and pepper. Cook onion in butter until golden in large skillet. Add meat and brown while mixing. Add cream of mushroom soup and cook for 5 minutes. Add sour cream and cook for 5 minutes or until heated. We usually serve over egg noodles but you could do rice too! Picture to come soon! X000B7; Log in.
Chicken Pot Pie

A place to balance work and being a mommy. 1 pound of chicken cooked and cubed. 2 cups of mixed vegetables. Cup of dried onion flakes. 1/3 cup all purpose flour. 1 cup of chicken broth or stock. 2/3 cup of milk. 2 unbaked pie crusts (I usually use Pillsbury). Add chicken and vegetables to sauce mixture. Place bottom pie crust in pan. Pour mixture over and top with the second pie crust. Cut slits in crust for steam to escape. My husband hates chicken pot pie. Can you tell?
