Principles of Policing | You're Nicked!

I don't think this is going to help me get the Queen's Police Medal. Stan Still 2010. The Queen’s Police Medal. Wrote these – many years ago. I think they still apply, but they are no longer endorsed or enforced. The basic mission for which the police exist is to prevent crime and disorder. The ability of the police to perform their duties is dependent upon public approval of police actions. Police, at all times, should maintain a relationship with the public that gives reality to the historic tradition ...

I don't think this is going to help me get the Queen's Police Medal. Stan Still 2010. The Queen’s Police Medal. Judge claims police are not an emergency resource! September 22, 2010. Once again a member of our esteemed judiciary makes a statement that makes the public think that judges are not really in touch with real life. Judge hits out after assault case is dropped. Apparently, some people are using the police “like an emergency resource”! Follow this on Police Oracle forums. From → Police Oracle.

I don't think this is going to help me get the Queen's Police Medal. Stan Still 2010. The Queen’s Police Medal. Don’t expect me to identify myself – I’m keeping myself out of the public eye until I get a decent advance for a book. It’s worked for others! What I will tell you is that I’m currently a patrol sergeant in a large police force in the middle of England. No prizes for guessing which one. That’s as much as you’ll get on that score. A Stream of Consciousness: July 2012

A Stream of Consciousness. The random ramblings of my mind and my thoughts on the world around me. Saturday, 28 July 2012. The Olympic Opening Ceremony. So that was it? The athletes ambled around the track, the flame(s) were lit and a load of British acts performed out of tune. As for the lighting of the flame; what a load of nonsense. I saw Sir Steve Redgrave light his torch and thought they had, for once, made a sensible choice. But then passing it round the sprogs? Links to this post. So that was it?

A Stream of Consciousness. The random ramblings of my mind and my thoughts on the world around me. Friday, 12 April 2013. Despite my initial ambivalence, I loved it. As I said, the whole show was fantastic. The performers engaged in suitably impressive feats of strength, gymnastic ability, horsemanship and daring. This was topped off by a ringmaster who was the perfect, slightly camp, exuberant showman. The other acts were brilliant too however, as I said, I don't want to spoil the surprise if you go....

A Stream of Consciousness: Wind Turbines
http://thoughtsofanormalbloke.blogspot.com/2013/04/wind-turbines.html
A Stream of Consciousness. The random ramblings of my mind and my thoughts on the world around me. Monday, 1 April 2013. The British countryside is infected with an horrendous disease. A scourge that is gradually destroying it. It's not ash dieback disease nor is it foot and mouth or any other livestock plague. Worse than that, the problem in question is entirely of our own doing. What I am referring to is the recent rash of wind turbines. Left wing fun police. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

I don't think this is going to help me get the Queen's Police Medal. Stan Still 2010. The Queen’s Police Medal. The Queen’s Police Medal. This is what I am missing out on for writing this blog. The QPM – as explained by Wikipedia. So it must be true). To my knowledge, no police blogger below the rank of Assistant Chief Constable has ever been awarded the QPM. To my knowledge, I’ve not been nominated for it this year. There is still time…………. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Follow &ld...
