Worthing National Trust Association. Visit to the Dickensian town of Rochester. We had a lovely day for our visit to Rochester with an almost full coach of members. My main objective was to revisit Restoration House so named -. In recent years the owners have bought land beyond the garden which will be planted as an orchard and buildings which will become a mill and a brewery so watch this space. Other attractions in Rochester are the Cathedral with beautiful architecture and lovely stained glass windows...

Worthing National Trust Association. The Association’s roots go back to 1973 with the formation of the Southdown Association drawn from members of National Trust in the area bounded by Littlehampton and Brighton and the Downs behind. Large membership numbers rapidly led to the establishment of more local groups, of which Worthing is one, drawing its members mainly from the area between the Arun and Adur rivers and associated downlands. Worthing National Trust Association. Ploughman’s Lunch and Talk at The Dome. Sixty two members attended a Ploughman’s Lunch at the Dome on Tuesday 9th June. The content of the meal and the service of the staff were very good and, as previously has happened, the weather was at its best. The arrival of royalty and other visitors had been followed by the need to change places of accommodation and pay more attention to safety of places near the sea. The Town Hall with its clock and Beach House -. The food wa...
