Wow, It's Lupus. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Yes as you all know I'm curvy by nature. But the lovely thing about Lupus is that the prednisone (which my doctor told me I can no longer avoid) really helps with that vuluptuous look I so carefully cultivate. I am hungry all the time, mainly for bread and crackers, and my face and stomach get so full that I get asked every day "Are you pregnant? I really want to be positive but it is pretty hard. PS: That is a picture I took of myself this morning.

I have had the opportunity this week to be alone for a few nights (not days: those are filled with school and work, and the only "alone" time is in the bathroom! How long, after being diagnosed, should one take to wallow and cry and dwell before sucking it up and living your life? When do I need to slap myself in the face and be positive?
