A reminder to myself. Archive for November, 2012. Long Time No Write. November 29, 2012. It’s been a (long) while since I posted on this blog. But a recent Elance proposal reminded me of my little old writing blog and as I was reading my short stories I decided I wanted to give it another go. A reminder to myself. Writing within a state of grace. I love: my daughter; my husband, mostly unless he’s pissing me off (wink-wink); red velvet cake; strawberry red vines; Hawaii and all related things to eat, e.g. one-ton chips; food obviously; Fleetwood Mac; and reading. A reminder to myself. I haven’t written in over a week because…. My mother-in-law was visiting from the Big Island. My parents were visiting from Mexico. I had a party to plan and throw for my one-year-old. I am now cleaning up from all of the above house action. A reminder to myself. October 26, 2011 - One Response. 8220;Write what you know,” they say. I am knee-deep in motherhood and I seem to have a lot to say. Still, I am more than a mother. I’m waiting for that. Voice to creep forth. Until then my daughter is an endless muse. The writing community is amazingly open and inviting. I love that. My daughter will be turning one in less than two weeks, and I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around it. Let alone writing anything worthy. Did I mention NaNoWriMo?
