The writing center at ball state. The Writing Center at Ball State has a long history of supporting writing on campus. Our main enterprise since 1966 has been one-to-one peer tutoring. We do this through face-to-face and online appointments. Each year for the past five years, we have had an increase in the demand for our services and have more appointments than the previous year. Students who meet with a tutor are overwhelmingly impressed 97% of students rated their session as excellent or good.

The Writing Center and The Speaking Studio at Washington University in St. Louis provide free, one-on-one tutoring to all WUSTL students for any writing or public speaking project. We are located in the northwest corner of Olin Library’s first level. Our current logo, adopted in 2013, was created by peer tutors Georgia McCandlish (FA’14) and Katie Walker (FA’13).
