とくに忙しくしていたわけではないのだけれど、あれやこれやの雑事とライフイベントが重なり、落ちついた時間が取りにくかったのです。 ワールドカップの試合はちょこちょこ観ています。日本はグループリーグ残り１試合、勝っても負けても、未来につながるような、全力を出し切った試合を見せてほしい。 島根ははじめて。中国地方の育ちなのに、山陰は案外なじみがなく、子供のころ、林間学校で砂丘を見たのと、家族旅行で皆生温泉に行ったぐらい。いまは県境の中国山地を越えるいい道路ができたので、ずいぶん行きやすくなったようです。 今回は二日間かけて、米子、出雲、奥出雲、松江へ。飛び石のように離れた各所の見どころを線で結ぶように、レンタカーで西へ東へと駆けめぐってきました。 早朝８時半、米子空港に降り立つ。魚市場へ直行して朝食。「モサエビあります」の張り紙に心躍らせ、モサエビのむき身丼（頭は唐揚げにしてくれた）、旬のシロイカなど。 美保神社を参拝。からりと晴れ渡った青空とぴかぴかの新緑が、 That's. 五月晴れ、鮮やかなコントラストが目に眩しい。カメラの F. 値はもちろん教本どおり、 "Sunny F16". 今回利用した「松本丸の内ホテル」は、お城にも繁華街にも近くて便利な場所にありました。 ウェブサイトの印象よりこぢんまりしていましたが、６月に改装オープンしたばかりの客室は清潔で、なによりスタッフの皆さんがとても感じがよかった。 朝の松本城も人でいっぱいでしたが、幸い入場制限はなく、１時間ほどかけて列をなしながらゆっくり天守閣の階段をのぼりました。 上へいけばいくほど、格子窓をざあっと吹き抜ける風が心地よい。三代将軍家光を迎えるために増築されたという、「月見櫓」がなんとも趣があってよい感じでした。 毎年、秋の十五夜には、この月見櫓で雅楽を演奏するとのこと。素敵だろうな。 天守閣を下りたら、早くもお昼の時間。この日のランチは「ヒカリヤニシ」へ。 商家の蔵屋敷を改装したレストラン。土間の受付を抜けると、中庭を通って蔵の二階へ案内されます。 前菜、スープ、メイン、デザートのデジュネ・コース。 料理もどれも軽くフレッシュ。もちろんそこがいいのですが、アメリカ人はきっと全部前菜だと思うだろうな、とよけいなことを考えたり。。。 8/28/13, 9:41 PM. 8/30/13, 12:41 AM.
