My gratitude to the serious responses thus far, and a 'chuckle' to those less serious, but more predictable! I don't seek to be flame bait here, nor are my thougts intended to be trivial, but to engage in some serious dialogue. There are some facts and data that could help assess the state of the hobby's size and assumed health. Bankrupcy rate of current leaders U/D/S (up/down/static).

Friday, March 21, 2014. DCC - Custom Throttle Holder Cab Cubby. These ThrottleCaddys available in many sizes with two designed specifically for Digitrax, one short for Engineer's Throttles and the XT for the DT40XX series throttles. They are available on eBay from seller briank01510. They are laser cut masonite and come in a kit. Glue and paint to match your facia. Saturday, December 30, 2006. Commentary - Big Shop or Bigger Layout? OK, Joe Daddy is wrestling with something. Do I make my shop smaller so I can have a bigger layout, or is the shop more important than more train? Getting more real estate (more room) is not possible. So, my thinking is to expand my layout into my shop and build the layout over the top of my existing work table at about 50 inches or so and use the room for both. Well, sticking with my resolution to have trees for my UMG modules at the Truro Train Show in October I have been fairly busy. I've spent quite a few evenings since MudFest making trees while watching TV. Two groupings of future trees. I use natural materials for tree forms. The trees in the background are made using the dried flowers of False Spirea.
