Friday, 30 March 2012. I suspect that one of the reasons for the panic may well have been that there has been an almost continual decline in the number of fuel outlets in recent years. Gone are the days when Silverton had Brady's or West's Garages to turn to. Now its the Speedway Garage on the Exeter road 2 miles away and thats it.
