I am back to my regularly scheduled programing. My project for the day is: 14 lbs of hamburger, 12 pounds of onions, tomato sauce, etc. What does that make? A big mess. Saturday, January 26, 2013. My hair is coming in enough that I decided I'd had enough of wearing a wig. I still don't have enough hair to use shampoo. but I decided the wig was just too much trouble. I don't think it looks too bad right now, but I think it will have an awkward stage at some point. Luckily my gym friends have told me they'll help me style it then. Friday, February 8, 2013. Do I have hair NOW? And my cats are getting along! I've had a number of people tell me that my hair is growing quickly. I guess it's all in the perspective. It seems slow to me. It'll be a long time before I can do locks of love again. 2 weeks of radiation left, and I can't wait to be done. Things are still going well. This past week has been a little hectic with a PET scan, doctors appointments, an MRI, and a pesky cold, but the end result is that radiation is scheduled to start this Monday (1/14) and go for 6 weeks. After that I'll be done! February 22nd is marked on my calendar with a big red circle. 5 weeks of growth 1/12/13. 6 1/2 weeks of growth 1/22/13. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday, December 18, 2012. What color will my hair be? And how much gray will I have? Someone told me that when her mom started chemotherapy her hair was gray, but when it grew back it came in jet black which is what color it had been before she went gray. My hair has started growing again. Anyone want to take a guess as to what color it will be? The other burning question that I have is when will my hair be as long as it was when I turned 40? Or will I even let it get that long again? Now it looks like:.
