I started the dish by using on container of fresh, juicy salsa from the local grocery store and adding 1/2 cup of water to dutch oven. On this base I placed four large chicken breasts which were sprinkled with a seasoning by McCormick called “fiesta citrus” and then topped by red and green peppers. The result was fantastic! A taste of country. One family, lots of food. Friday, May 25, 2012. Sautee one small onion, 1/2 of a green pepper, 1 cup chopped roast beef, 1 small can of mushrooms in olive oil until the peppers start to soften. Add 1/2 cup sherry cooking wine, 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce and 1 small can of sliced olives and simmer while the ravioli cooks. This kid friendly recipe is something the whole family can help make and is easily complimented with a fresh green salad. View my complete profile.

A taste of country. One family, lots of food. Monday, November 25, 2013. Tonight's dinner was a a Rocky Mountain take on the Polish favorite, bigos. Bigos is a traditional hunters stew from Poland utilizing several different kinds of meat and is heavy on the sauerkraut. I use about 3 pounds of the stuff when making bigos. It has been getting visits from as far away as Russia, the Netherlands, South Africa, and Brazil! I do have to appologize for not posting much recently, life has just been kind of busy. He was born on July 17, 1941 in Denver, Colo. He married Vera Ruth Griffin on Sept. 4, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nev. Marvin loved the outdoors and animals, reading and traveling. Just us. . . and maybe some food. Thursday, June 18, 2009. Eva, Anna, Paul and I decided to take a quick drive toward the radio tower on top of Oyster Ridge today. As you can see from the picture below this tower is on the hill directly east of Kemmerer. I wish I had taken pictures of the road :) I think Magda will have fun riding up there when she comes home. Sweet sweet photos of antelope. Mmm antelope burger. You should bring a good mycology guide next time you go up. Fun for the whole family!

Most of them involved cooking times of 2 hours and 30 minutes prep time. That is nuts! Try cooking for 4 hungry kids and telling them they have to wait more than 2 hours for the food. 'ok kids, go watch a couple movies while we wait. . . and don't destroy the house' yeah, right! 1 1/2 pounds beef ( I used a sirloin tri-tip as it was on sale ).
