movealongnownothingtoseehere: February 2015
http://movealongnownothingtoseehere.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, 14 February 2015. This week I finished off my 15mm US Paratroopers for Chain of Command, these are mainly made up of the plastics from the Open Fire starter box supplemented with some metals. They are painted with the post D-Day uniform. Alongside the later three squad platoon, we have all three engineer supports, additional mortar and bazooka teams, a sniper team and forward observer. Tuesday, 10 February 2015. Monday, 2 February 2015. The Battle of Shaikan. I was quite impressed with what we'...

movealongnownothingtoseehere: June 2015
http://movealongnownothingtoseehere.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, 18 June 2015. For a while i had been thinking of buying the Rocky Outcrop terrain box from Gale Force 9, the set was pre-painted and just just pop it on the table. Unfortunately I missed the only box at Salute and I believe that this set is out of production. I found another company making their own similar product Tiny Worlds. Who have both a webstore and an eBay store. The webstore is cheaper but the eBay store price is inclusive of shipping. Wednesday, 17 June 2015. Tuesday, 16 June 2015.

movealongnownothingtoseehere: April 2015
http://movealongnownothingtoseehere.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 26 April 2015. First up here is our game for the day. First Battle of Ypres, the attacking Germans got in to the British trenches, as previously all terrain and models by Kallistra. Just down from us where the Crooked Dice demo tables, all intricate dioramas fantastically modelled. The 'Ghostbusters' was my favourite of the day. In cabinets they also had samples models from next years ground combat game. Spartans and below UNSC. Some of the components of La Haye Sainte are included in the table b...

movealongnownothingtoseehere: Fantasy Rampant
http://movealongnownothingtoseehere.blogspot.com/2015/06/fantasy-rampant.html
Wednesday, 17 June 2015. Here are a couple of figures I painted up from the Reaper Bones plastics range for Dan Mersey to use in his forthcoming Dragon Rampant rules, a fantasy variant of Lion Rampant which I'm sure will be lots of fun. I'm looking forward to the books release at Christmas to see if they get included in the game photos. Very nice on both Paul. I do like the wizard. 17 June 2015 at 17:58. Tuesday, 26 May 2015. Back from Northumbria and more Wars of the Roses painting. I'm back from a week in Northumbria, just spitting distance from Hadrian's Wall, got lots of photos and I will post them up when I've had a chance. We had a great time, walked some of the wall and visited some museums, I also managed both the new Uhtred paperback from Bernard Cornwell and the latest Macro and Cato paperback from Simon Scrarrow. movealongnownothingtoseehere: January 2015
http://movealongnownothingtoseehere.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, 26 January 2015. Blood on the Nile. The publication of Blood on the Nile by Warlord Games, has kicked me back in to my Baccus Sudan figures for a game at Wyvern Wargamers. We are starting off with some games with initial actions with Hicks Pasha before British involvement. Unfortunately there are still some gaps in the Sudan range, Pete at Baccus promises some new colonial releases this year, fingers crossed for Naval Brigade and more Sudanese. So we are co-opted some Brits. Last night at Wyvern ...

movealongnownothingtoseehere: July 2015
http://movealongnownothingtoseehere.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 21 July 2015. Here's a selection of mainly Reaper Bones plastics, painted up for dungeons and as Frostgrave fauna. In the front row we have four Bones spiders, centred around a repainted plastic pre-paint, in time I will likely do an even bigger version with the same purple and dark red colours. Middle row shows two Dire Rats, bigger and nastier than my Giant Rats, then a Basilisk and a Carrion Crawler, finally the back row has a clear plastic wraith which I've coloured dark blue. The next time ...

movealongnownothingtoseehere: Pre-painted fantasy figures
http://movealongnownothingtoseehere.blogspot.com/2015/07/pre-painted-fantasy-figures.html
Tuesday, 21 July 2015. There are a large selection of pre-painted fantasy figures available, made by Wizards of the Coast amongst others for the D&D and Pathfinder role playing games. Some of these figures are 'collectable' and as such have a premium, others are very reasonably prices. I have touched some of these up and redone the bases. First up is a Snow Ape, just the sort of beast to be found wandering the ruins streets of Frostgrave. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ancients, Dark Ages, ECW.
