Cathy's Corner: July 2008
http://cathy-cathyscorner.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 7, 2008. Just For Fun - Follow-up! I was just reading my "Just For Fun" post and realized I have given up one of my bad habits. I quit biting my nails. This is major for me, so I'm quite happy about it. Saturday, July 5, 2008. Jana and I went to Ottawa yesterday in hopes of finding an apartment for her and her roommate, Katie. Katie and her mom met us today and we started looking. There were so many things to consider, and yet not a lot of choices out there. How safe does it seem? I have two...

Cathy's Corner: March 2008
http://cathy-cathyscorner.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 27, 2008. The following was posted in a newsletter at work this week, and I thought it was terrific, so I decided to pass it on. There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head. "Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today! So she did and she had a wonderful day. The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head, "Yeah! IT'S GOOD TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF! I then r...

Cathy's Corner: JANA IS HOME!!!
http://cathy-cathyscorner.blogspot.com/2008/05/jana-is-home.html
Sunday, May 4, 2008. I'm very happy to have Jana home. From her 1st year at Ottawa University. My sister and I went to pick her up last weekend. We had the van packed full of things that she actually fit in her little room. I can't believe the year went so fast. Jana has gained more independence, and (don't tell her but.) she's still my little girl. I know, I know."Let her grow up! She actually did that and is an amazing young woman, who loves God. She is now in pursuit of a summer job. She is taking.

Cathy's Corner: May 2008
http://cathy-cathyscorner.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 17, 2008. It's unbelievable how quickly they grow up! Brandon, my youngest , and now a young man, is 17 today, May 19th. I can still remember the day he was born. I had to have an emergency C-section and he had a very tramatic birth. The cord was wrapped around his body, cutting off his circulation. He was black and blue when he was born, but no permanent damage was done. Thank you God! As a toddler he was very mischievous. He did. As a child he was very lovable and very talkative. One ...

Cathy's Corner: IT'S GOOD TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF!
http://cathy-cathyscorner.blogspot.com/2008/03/its-good-to-laugh-at-yourself.html
Thursday, March 27, 2008. IT'S GOOD TO LAUGH AT YOURSELF! Here's the story. I started my new job last week, and on Tuesday something happened, and I couldn't help laughing at myself. I shared it with some other girls in the office today and they kept passing it on and laughing some more. I didn't mind. It was just one of my shining moments, and here's what happened. The phone at my desk started ringing! I'll be laughing about this for a good, long time. I hope this story at least made you smile! If you d...

Keep on Marching, The Scenery is Great After All. As For Me, I'll Be Sprinting in the Opposite Direction, Towards the Ashes You Left Behind. Thursday, March 27, 2008. February 19, 2008. The worker remains increasingly expropriated from the means of production and in cases where the workers have begun to gain ground they are quickly crushed by the heavy hand of Western intervention which is fearful its tight grip on the means of production may be loosened. Against The Grain: Flex Your Head

Keep on Marching, The Scenery is Great After All. As For Me, I'll Be Sprinting in the Opposite Direction, Towards the Ashes You Left Behind. Tuesday, March 18, 2008. The First Step are a great youth crew band and i really relate to their lyrics, here are the lyrics to a song from their "What We Know " LP that speaks to what i said above:. Out on the street I come face to face. With what little concern we have for the others, in this human race. You can choose the view you want to see but. Here I sit, mid...
