wandering and wondering: One Year
http://caraandwinston.blogspot.com/2011/03/one-year.html
All those who wander are not lost. Where would I get treatment? What kind of treatment would I receive? When would I start? How do I tell my friends? How do I tell my students? Can I still teach during treatment? But the most important decision I had to make, the most important question that needed an answer was How am I going to deal with this? I can truthfully say that. I live a full, rich life, and I have done so for ALL of my 32 years. So there, cancer. Showed you. Cara, you amaze me. I have tear...

wandering and wondering: Pro Humanitate... in high school?
http://caraandwinston.blogspot.com/2009/02/pro-humanitate-in-high-school.html
All those who wander are not lost. Pro Humanitate. in high school? I will tell everyone who wants to listen (and even some who don't) about how much I love my job. I get to teach some of the coolest kids around in a school where the teachers care about teaching and the administrators work tirelessly to make sure that we have everything we need to do our jobs well. Tonight was a really good example of why I love my students and our school. Stephen stole a line from Maryland! That is SO great! These are a ...

The Gaffney Family: November 2012
http://thefamilygaffney.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
November 14, 2012. Is there hope in this hour? There is hope. Look at these two precious babies. I almost lost hope. This is a devastating blow to our once great nation. Our fundamental way of life and our core values have been rejected by half of our population. This is not a case of a slight ideological difference. This is a chasm that cannot be closed. So what can we do? Have we lost America as we know it? Let's take this country back. Let's restore our nation. November 1, 2012. Look at that focus!

All those who wander are not lost. Fjun in the Fjords. I cannot believe that I will turn the calendar to July next week.time flies when you are enjoying the summer! I feel that it is my responsibility as a teacher to fully embrace my summer months by being outside and enjoying the freedom to travel.so I've been busy trying to live up to these self imposed expectations! Christy and I with my Copenhagen city bike- took me all around the city and then got stolen! Nyhvnd, a cool area next to the water. View ...

All those who wander are not lost. I had just about given up on the whole blogging thing, but I've decided to see if I can get back in the habit as I miss writing and this is as good a place as any to record a few thoughts that are rattling around in my head these days. I answered that I've found myself in too many awkward moments to count and that really, isn't life just one big awkward moment? I have been mulling over this conversation for the latter part of this week because I wonder what this means i...

The Gaffney Family: Trick or Treat!
http://thefamilygaffney.blogspot.com/2014/11/trick-or-treat.html
November 13, 2014. We kicked off Halloween week with a marvelous parade for Molly's preschool class! Then it was off to Trick or Pete, a dynamic interactive show with the author of the Pete the Cat Books! Thankfully I had help from Grandma and Pa to keep track of all three kiddos! Finally we had a little trick or treating! We wrapped up Halloween weekend with the last soccer game of the season. We were glad Grandma got to spend it with us! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Gaffney Family: February 2012
http://thefamilygaffney.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
February 25, 2012. Sledding and other things! Molly got to do a little bit of sledding in our backyard the weekend after Mason got home from the hospital. Grandpa made her an awesome sled run and she had a blast! Mason also kept busy this week with his first sponge baths. He is not a fan. He prefers to be snuggled up warm and safe:). Molly is loving her new Dora ball pit! Mason is just the happiest little guy, usually pretty content - so very nice for me! Here he is just hanging out with Pa. She was so e...

the fuquays: It's pumpkin time
http://fuquaydenver.blogspot.com/2012/10/its-pumpkin-time.html
Friday, October 12, 2012. You just can't beat the Dallas Arboretum for great fall pumpkin pictures - tens of thousands of pumpkins, pumkin houses and bails of hay just waiting for people to dress up their kids and grab their cameras - i'm a sucker for it! Those suckers are huge. Your little ones are too much. I could eat them. We are heading your way at Christmas. Will you all be around? October 31, 2012 at 7:02 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
