Thoughts and adventures in becoming a mother. Toddler and Newborn Days…. April 11, 2013. Wow, has it really been almost a year since I last posted? Life has changed just a little in the past year. We moved into a new house, finally got around to watching Trading Places with Nate, and oh yeah… had a baby! Filed Under: A Growing Nest. Speak Your Mind Cancel reply. I had Daisy in the car, and I think that was the easy part. I'll blog about the rest of it either way. Vote for us by clicking below!

Thoughts and adventures in becoming a mother. October 3, 2011. Where has time gone? Daisy is a happy, busy, babbling 11 month old and that 1 year mark is looming ever closer. I started planning her party today. It’s going to be an outside party and I’m thinking of hay bales to sit on, plenty of drinks and snacks, and pumpkin painting for the kiddos. I just finished ordering her invitations on shutterfly.com and here is a sneak peak. View the entire collection. Filed Under: A Growing Nest. 4 month old baby.

Thoughts and adventures in becoming a mother. Levi’s Growing Up. August 25, 2013. Levi pulled himself from a sitting position into a standing position while he was taking a bath tonight. I absolutely cannot believe he is big enough, old enough, and strong enough to start that yet. He’s turning into a little boy right before my very eyes. Filed Under: A Growing Nest. August 25, 2013. Climb on | A Growing Nest

Thoughts and adventures in becoming a mother. July 30, 2011. In the past week or so Daisy has pretty much mastered crawling on her hands and knees and has moved on to climbing. She can climb up stairs, into cupboards, and onto boxes. If she can climb like this now I can only imagine how much trouble I’m going to be in as she gets older, taller, and stronger. It’s going to take baby proofing to a whole new level. Pretty proud of herself. Filed Under: A Growing Nest. March 5, 2012 at 3:52 am.

Thoughts and adventures in becoming a mother. August 25, 2013. Today in the car Daisy saw a bunch of birds fly over our car and was really excited about pointing them out. I asked her if she knew that a group of birds is called a flock. She just smiled and looked at me, so I asked her if she could say the word “flock.” We then had the following conversation. D: Fwock. Mommy, can you say fleece. Me: Sure, fleece. My second story is a little TMI, so if you don’t like poop stories, stop now. So, those are m...

Thoughts and adventures in becoming a mother. May 22, 2013. Nothing makes you feel more like a mom than trying to grocery shop with two crying kids in tow. I think this was officially Daisy’s first grocery store tantrum, so I’ve really been pretty lucky until now. In her defense, the life size inflatable jet ski was looking pretty irresistible. I even got a “you’ve really got your hands full! 8221; From one of the grey haired ladies who shop at aldi before noon. Filed Under: A Growing Nest. His own vampi...
