One step at a time! Sunday, December 8, 2013. Recovery attempt – take 1. I went to see a sports medicine doctor in NJ and he first suspected foot drop due to accelerated compartment syndrome. He first sent me to neurologist to get an EMG (Electromyography). After about two months of physical therapy, my therapist suggested to start running slowly for 5-10 minutes and back off at slightest hint of botheration. One key aspect of running was to focus a lot on picking up my left foot (which had the foot drop).

One step at a time! Saturday, May 16, 2015. Big Sur Marathon - Running on the rugged edge of the western world. Big sur Course profile. Foggy cloud cover over the mountains made the scene even more spectacular. Mile 9.8 marks the lowest point of the course and also the beginning of the infamous 2 mile climb to the notorious Hurricane Point. One step at a time! Tuesday, September 3, 2013. It was time to visit Podiatrist and diagnosis revealed I have developed Peroneal Tendinitis on my left foot. I cancelled my registration from Hartford Marathon and I was pleasantly surprised to hear they refund the registration fees 30 days before the race something that rarely occurs with marathon registrations. I still have the registration open for Philly half marathon scheduled on Nov-17. Will take one day at a time to see what I can do on these events.

One step at a time! Saturday, January 10, 2015. Life Elevated Part 4 - Capitol Reef National Park. After three nights at the Center of the universe, I left Escalante and drove east on highway 12 towards Capitol Reef. What an amazing drive. I was stopping at every turn to take pictures. Mind blowing. Never seen anything like this! Cloud cleared and finally was able to take this shot. Checked into Days Inn, which was probably the only hotel open around here. Easy hike to get this spectacular natural bridge.
