Gabriele's Spot: Stash busting on UFO day
http://quiltinbugs.blogspot.com/2009/02/stash-busting-on-ufo-day.html

Gabriele's Spot: American Hero quilt top
http://quiltinbugs.blogspot.com/2009/02/american-hero-quilt-top.html
Saturday, February 7, 2009. American Hero quilt top. This is my first American Hero quilt top finish for this year, ready to be mailed to Sue Nebeker. Most of the blocks came from ROBIN. Labels: American Hero quilt. I have one ready to send, too. It took a couple of trips to get more fabric to finish the borders. I had started with some blocks I had, figured it all out in EQ5, then discovered that the blocks I had to start with wer 9 inch instead of 12. February 7, 2009 at 4:42 PM. Thank you so much!

http://quiltinbugs.blogspot.com/2009/01/my-moms-birthday.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Today My mom would have turned 71. While browsing through some pictures I found this one of her working as chief secretary on Bitburg AFB, Germany in the 1960's, before I was born. Below is a Hawaiian wall hanging I designed in memory of my mom - Christina's garden. What a wonderful memory quilt and a great photo of her as well. January 28, 2009 at 1:22 PM.
