Existential Waitress: Wherein I entreat you to point at me and laugh.
http://existentialwaitress.blogspot.com/2010/01/wherein-i-entreat-you-to-point-at-me.html
Friday, January 15, 2010. Wherein I entreat you to point at me and laugh. Inspired by Aunt Becky over at Mommy Wants Vodka. Who proposed an Internet DUEL of embarrassing photographs, I am going to accept this challenge and treat you to some truly embarrassing photographs of me as a kid. Why? Make me happy. Even at the tender age of 9, I was most definitely. One where I look even more unhappy, I'm certain of that). Come and get me, boys.". And now for the creme de la creme of today's embarrassing photos, ...

The Wood Life: October 2012
http://thewoodlife.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 28, 2012. I love you more than you will ever know. Well you might know one day when you have a kid, but maybe you won’t because maybe a father’s love is different from a mother’s love, and I’ll never know that. But just know that I love you to pieces and that will never change. That being said, this is the last newsletter. You’re six now, and I feel like you will probably remember most everything that happens to you from here on out, or at least the important things. You built a pyramid, ...

The Wood Life: Monthly Newsletter #68
http://thewoodlife.blogspot.com/2012/06/monthly-newsletter-68.html
Tuesday, June 05, 2012. I’m not going to lie, there was some deprograming to be done in the following weeks, but I wasn’t the only one fighting it – your daddy was too. I believe you are back to normal now, so at least there’s that. Right after I got sprayed off by the fire truck we went home, I showered and we immediately got back in the car to go to one of your friend’s birthday parties. After which we met Catherine and Jack for dinner. June 06, 2012 7:49 AM. June 06, 2012 8:02 AM. First You Make a Roux.

The Wood Life: July 2012
http://thewoodlife.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 15, 2012. This month consisted of a lot of water for you. You spent two weeks in swimming lessons each evening. Mr. Cody taught you all kinds of things I had been trying to get you to do for years, and one day with him, all of the sudden putting your face in the water is NOT the end of the world…He had you doing strokes and floating…I am so proud of you! You got to spend a week with Grandma and Grandpa Logan, while Mike and I went on a cruise. From what I hear you had a blast. Complaints reg...

The Wood Life: November 2011
http://thewoodlife.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 03, 2011. This month has been, interesting. The next weekend we had Carson from school’s birthday party at BounceU. I love BounceU. They have the best giant slide ever – you don’t like to go down it by yourself, so I get to go on it with you – which I love to do. You also tested out their hurricane machine – along with like 12 other kids – you experienced 75 mph winds. Tuesday, November 01, 2011. What did you say to her? 8221; I’m not sure what the question was about, “are ...8221; may...

The Wood Life: Monthly Newsletter #66
http://thewoodlife.blogspot.com/2012/04/monthly-newsletter-66.html
Saturday, April 07, 2012. This month I took you to the rodeo for the second time. This time we took Rhett with us and we went around and looked at all the animals and the tractors. We saw Zac Brown Band and now every time you hear one of their songs, you announce that you know it is Zac Brown because you remember hearing it at the rodeo. This time the rodeo portion was a lot less shocking to you and you didn’t have to be calmed thinking that the animal were being hurt, but really? I hope these two come i...

The Wood Life: March 2012
http://thewoodlife.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 08, 2012. This was a growth month I guess. So many life lessons. It was a tough month emotionally. 8221; And I told you it was NOT impossible, that it was going to be difficult, but you could do it, that you were tough, and I would be right by your side to help you the whole time. 8221; We got encouragement from passers by “He’s such a TROOPER! 8221; They’d say. And you were. I’m proud to say that you didn’t fall down once! This month’s request is T-ball related. All I’m a...Complaints re...

The Wood Life: December 2011
http://thewoodlife.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 16, 2011. Landon's School Holiday Program. Thursday, December 15, 2011. At least we already did the Christmas Card picture. Wednesday, December 07, 2011. This month we didn’t spend a whole lot of time together. Not because I didn’t want to, but because it just happened to be that way. Mike came to visit for the first two weeks of November, and you and he hit it off very well. Which I find completely understandable, you and he had a blast together.). Great aunt Mary Lou (actually I think ...

The Wood Life: Monthly Newsletter #67
http://thewoodlife.blogspot.com/2012/05/monthly-newsletter-67.html
Monday, May 07, 2012. This month sped by so fast, I swear I looked up and it was already over. This year we did considerably fewer Easter egg hunts. Just the one at Aunt Kelly’s and the one at home on Easter morning. I managed to whittle down the plastic egg population in the house from somewhere around 60 to somewhere around 30. And to me – that’s an Easter success! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Willard says "Check this out! The Pioneer Woman Cooks! First You Make a Roux.
