http://chiker.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Seattle is a great place for hikers. Sunday, July 30, 2006. Chu Eddy, Kang Xun, Wenjuan and I. 54 miles rt and 1550 ft gain. It's a cloudy day. We choose a lake hike. The trail is easy and we saw families with small kids and little dogs on the trail. There are two nice water falls along the trail on the creek trail. Walking around the lake and view the lake from all the different angles was quite fun. Posted by North Cascade at 7:59 PM. Monday, July 17, 2006. North Cascade and Sahale Arm. Wang Zheng and I.

We decided to go on trails along highway 90 this time. We had been to Annette Lake last year and knew it is not that hard. The hiking starts easy. There was a beatiful bridge not far away from trail head. Beneath the bridge, snow melt water flows down rapidly. Hiking down took us about the same amount of time.

Seattle is a great place for hikers. Sunday, June 25, 2006. This trail is about 3 miles long and gains 3926 feet. This is the third time for me to climb Mailbox Peak. It's a clear day. Finally, I can know where the Mailbox peak is. Last two times, I only know that it is in the cloud. The view of Mt. Rainier is great especially after so much climbing. Flowers on the mountain top is blosoming. Maybe we should go to Bendera Mt. soon. I know the flowers there are great. Posted by North Cascade at 9:24 PM.
