Something Beautiful: Monogrammed Beverage Buckets
http://jamelialife.blogspot.com/2012/04/monogrammed-drink-buckets.html
DIY, Decor and I Do's. Sunday, April 22, 2012. Awhile ago we purchased these white buckets from Lowe's to hold ice and drinks when we have company over. I decided that I wanted to add a monogram to the buckets. just because that's what I do. Basically, my motto is, when in doubt, add a monogram. I'm not kidding, James is worried that if I buy a monogramming machine, he will come home to every single pair of his socks and boxers monogrammed. I feel like that is a little. Excessive, but you never know.

Something Beautiful: July 2011
http://jamelialife.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
DIY, Decor and I Do's. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Our plans for this area were to take out the glass shelves, knock out the brick wall and enclose the area just on the other side of the shelves as a walk in closet, connected to the master (which is on the other side of the solid wall in the picture). You customize your doors on their website by choosing the style and then putting in the dimensions and they make them and ship them to you. James had to get a special drill bit to install the hinges, but ...

Something Beautiful: Burlap Monogram Wreath
http://jamelialife.blogspot.com/2012/08/burlap-monogram-wreath.html
DIY, Decor and I Do's. Saturday, August 25, 2012. I planned to make a burlap monogrammed wreath to hang on the front door for Emmie's shower. But unfortunately the wooden monogram didn't arrive on time. I went ahead and made the wreath anyways and plan on mailing it to Emmie to use in Eliza Blair's nursery. I followed the tutorial from this blog. I started by wrapping the styrofoam wreath in burlap, then I cut 4 inch x 4 inch squares of burlap for the burlap "bubbles". Posted by Amelia O. Something Beautiful: July 2012
http://jamelialife.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
DIY, Decor and I Do's. Monday, July 23, 2012. The third bedroom has been at the top of our to-do list lately, and this past weekend was no different. Once the bedroom was painted I turned my focus to this monstrosity:. Meet my new friend Bendy. Because I was planning on making no-sew curtains, we also bought 3 packs of clip on curtain rings. I had James mount the hardware while I put together the rods. And came home with 7.5 yards of this brown and white cane print fabric. Posted by Amelia O. A $25 head ...

DIY, Decor and I Do's. Saturday, September 24, 2011. You may remember this post. Where I first talked about the master closet remodel, and shared a few pictures of the construction. Drawers for t-shirts, socks, etc. Posted by Amelia O. Wednesday, September 21, 2011. It went really well, and we had a l...

DIY, Decor and I Do's. Monday, November 28, 2011. On the Friday after Thanksgiving, James and I set out to get our first Christmas tree as a married couple. Something Beautiful: August 2011
http://jamelialife.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
DIY, Decor and I Do's. Friday, August 19, 2011. But this post is about James' most recent. 15 seconds of fame. Like many Dekalb County property owners, we received our property tax bill in the mail the other day. Because the property taxes are paid out of our mortgage escrow account, we didnt pay much attention to it. Then emails started circulating on our neighborhood listserve about the land and structure values being switched from last year. Example:. 2010 Land Value $60,000. 2010 Home Value $150,000.

Something Beautiful: June 2012
http://jamelialife.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
DIY, Decor and I Do's. Sunday, June 24, 2012. We adopted a dog! James and I recently made the decision to expand our family and adopt a dog. We thought this would be an easy process, especially considering how many dogs there are out there that need a home. Little did we know, the dog adoption process is pretty intense. We actually attempted to adopt two different dogs before we had success. With the first dog we got flat out denied ( apparently. Introducing Buford Beauregard Ostenson:. Riding in the car.
