Saturday, January 31, 2009. My doctor visit on Thursday was "mixed". The good parts were a) my tests came out in the "normal" range and b) She recommended a medication for my shooters which is superior to Neurontin and is helping. The bad part is that her outstanding medical knowledge again trumps my years of experience (sarcasm). I'm wrong because she knows better! Live with shooters—they are unbearable! Tuesday, October 6, 2009. I really enjoy the games, and I have nothing better to do! So, I'll keep trying to get in, and try not to let the frustration bother me. I feel your pain! Monday, June 22, 2009. The timing could not have been more perfect if we'd had walkie-talkie communication. As Mel stepped out the front door, Curt was turning into our drive. Now, we live in an ultra remote area, and unannounced guests are very rare. Mel did not recognize the car, and when he saw who it was, was genuinely, and pleasantly shocked. . Monday, April 27, 2009. MS wise, I was slowly sliding, but continued to work, and actually did pretty well. I had noted that on a few trips away from Wichita (to CA and to AK during the folks' ails) my symptoms lessened. Also, the more time I spent at home, the more severe my symptoms became.
