Sudden Fiction: Sipping Coffee
http://boomenriquez.blogspot.com/2009/06/sipping-coffee.html
Tuesday, June 2, 2009. I would like to believe in that. With the advancements in technology, breakthroughs in modernity, unlimited opportunities for development, and the upcoming national elections, I think we will have better lives in the next few years. Is this the call of being extraordinary? To decide to uproot oneself and leave home? To sacrifice all the work and relationships that were developed and just make new ones? It seems that I have misunderstood what extraordinary means. Being extraordi...

My Dizzy Thoughts: Where to Stay in Prague: Arpacay Backpackers Hostel
http://dizzymae.blogspot.com/2015/04/where-to-stay-in-prague-arpacay.html
Musings of a wandering wonderer. Friday, April 03, 2015. Where to Stay in Prague: Arpacay Backpackers Hostel. A friend who's been to Prague the previous year recommended Arpacay to us. He said that the place is clean and quite near to Charles Bridge. I'm so glad we followed his recommendation, except for the long uphill climb to get there, I quite enjoyed my stay there. It had a quite cozy nook, too. (Photo from Arpacay website). Breakfast area (Photo from Arpacay website). You can access the kitchen any...

Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Signal 3 sa kamaynilaan. Nagsasayawan ang billboard ng anghel at darna. Nadadasal na huwag mahulog kay sta. clara. Patay-bukas ang ilaw ng mga sasakyan. Huthutan pa rin nang huthutan. Baka may leptospirosis pa. Ng mga nasa passenger seat sa likod. Kumatok si kuya baktong. Na himas-himas ang kanyang kambyo. 8216;di ko naman siya matutulungan. Ipang-iinom lang ang Aking barya. O ipantataya sa lotto’. Ndaang milyon na ang jackpot. 8216;sa mga institusyon na lang ako tutulong.

Sudden Fiction: January 2008
http://boomenriquez.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 28, 2008. Umaga Mainit. ...

My Dizzy Thoughts: Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp
http://dizzymae.blogspot.com/2015/04/sachsenhausen-concentration-camp.html
Musings of a wandering wonderer. Thursday, April 02, 2015. Our visit to Germany wouldn't have been complete without a visit to a concentration camp.My friend and I booked a guided tour to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp in Oranienburg, which was about an hour's train ride from Berlin. Although I usually like going off on my own and DIY-ing it, I think it was a good decision to join this tour because I got to learn more about the place and how it figured in history. The prisoners' sleeping quarters.

My Dizzy Thoughts: Practical Tip: Pack Light
http://dizzymae.blogspot.com/2014/11/practical-tip-pack-light.html
Musings of a wandering wonderer. Wednesday, November 05, 2014. Practical Tip: Pack Light. My friends know that I pride myself for being a light packer. I've always hated lugging around heavy and bulky bags filled with unnecessary items. I've made this mistake once, and I promised myself never again! So now I'm sharing with you some of the tricks I've learned to travel lightly:. When in transit, I wear my bulkiest clothes (jacket, jeans) and shoes (rubber shoes, boots).
