Thursday, December 18, 2008. O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name. For in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago. We returned home on schedule Saturday night and was met by a wonderful reception of family and friends. It was a long flight back (24 hrs door to door). You truly appreciate being in the United States after being in a foreign country. It was difficult traversing the city with the 4 million plus mopeds whizzing. 4boys and a princess.

Saturday, March 14, 2009. I am Peter, the "Rock" for better or worse. I came done from my shower and found Peter and his buddy, Luke jumping on the trampoline. This is a seven year old interpretation of the doctor telling him to take it easy with his cast. It was so funny to me. I am so glad Peter is feeling better! 4boys and a princess. Easy We are now helping him to adjust to the medicine with more sleep and pray that he will out grow this chapter in his life. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us. But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy. So, what do you think? Sunday, February 22, 2009. I will be with you; I will never leave you or forsake you. Joahua 1:5. This mornings worship service was amazing and emotional for our family. We had decided that today, at church, we as a family would go to the alter for Luke and pray for healing from his seizures. I need to back up the story 5 years or so. When I miscarried. That The Joint Council ( a group that negotiates and arbitrates for orphans and between countries) would successfully negotiate with the DIA (Dept. of International Adoption in Vietnam) to inspire them to want to continue adoptions with the US. That the US State Dept. and the USCIS would send a letter to Vietnam and state, they would desire to continue and support adoptions between the US and Vietnam. 4boys and a princess. We have our referral! We received our referral today!

Friday, November 28, 2008. To the very day". A while ago I was reading in Exodus 12:40 where the Israelites were leaving Egypt. The scripture stuck out to me " to the very day." Scripture. Says that the Israelites. Were in Egypt 430 years, to the very day, and then they left. That scripture was encouraging to me because it reminded me that the Israelites left Egypt on the day that God had prophesied. 4boys and a princess. Wednesday, November 26, 2008.
