You like that, right! Musings of a work from home momma. Wednesday, August 20. I am not always an optimist. The last few weeks I have felt exhausted, overwhelmed, alone and worst yet - lonely. She made arrangements to have out mutual babysitter come over the next day to babysit for the morning and she paid her! She is so genuinely caring that she could put herself in my place and figure out exactly what would help me the most and she just did it. And I had no say but she wanted it that way.

Mostly because there wasn't all that much to report or at least that’s how it felt to me. In reality some big decisions have been made and our day to day life looks much different today than it did last summer at this time. Message to our guests. I never thought I would be able to run more than 2 minutes but now after about 3 months I am able to run about half an hour without stopping. I know it probably doesn't seem like much but for me it's huge!

Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Wow, time is flying! Owen is 7 months old already and he is growing so quickly! I'm exhausted and I don't remember going through this with Gavin at all. I have been working hard at keeping a consistent schedule with Owen and we do a night time routine but it doesn't seem to be getting better. He goes down for the night very well and usually stays asleep till about 12ish. After that, he's up almost every hour until we get up for the day. Any tips are welcomed.

Most of my thoughts today are depressing much like the weather. I do however have one happy note. My youngest sister Brit had a baby girl last night! Everyone is just thrilled. Feeding a family of 6 lacto-ovo vegetarians. Monday, September 12, 2011. A Perfect Fall Meal! 3/4 cup sunflower seeds. 3 cloves minced garlic. 3 stalks chopped celery. 15 cups sliced mushrooms. 1/3 cup chopped sun dried tomatoes. 1/3 cup vegetable stock. 3 tbsp fresh thyme. 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley. 15-2 cups bread crumbs. 3 tbsp ground flax seed 3 tbsp water. 1/4 cup ketchup 1/4 cup brown sugar. In a food processor, pulse together walnuts and sunflower seeds. Transfer to a large bowl. Not made by me.
