The Crooked Stamper: December 2014
http://thecrookedstamper.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
CSSC Rules and Badges. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Today I broke out a Lawn Fawn set I HAD TO HAVE back in May, and I finally used it to make this:. I began by stamping and die-cutting the elephants. I love that they face each other! I used three different T (Toner) Copic markers to color them. In addition to finally using a stamp set I've had for seven months, I pulled out my A Muse Skinny Oval I've had for ever. This was pretty quick to make, and I'm happy with how it came out. Thanks for stopping by!

The Crooked Stamper: February 2015
http://thecrookedstamper.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
CSSC Rules and Badges. Saturday, February 28, 2015. I was hoping my pal would share some of her mojo with me, but alas, I'm on my own. So I did what I usually do: went through my list of challenges for some inspiration. Here's the new OWH sketch challenge. This is a little busier than I'd like, so instead of using individual pieces for the left-hand sketch elements, I just used a single strip of paper. Here's my card, then I'll explain:. And now all that stuff is off my desk! Thanks for stopping by!

The Crooked Stamper: January 2015
http://thecrookedstamper.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
CSSC Rules and Badges. Saturday, January 31, 2015. I've been playing in my craft room all day, and have nothing to show for it but pretty trash. So instead of a card, I'm sharing some photos of my crooked bird feeder. You see, the feeder holds a cylinder of seed, and the birds roost on the base and nibble on the seeds. It starts out looking like this:. That's a full (new) cylinder of seed. I'm mighty proud I managed to capture papa cardinal, too! As the birds work on the seed, you can see where they work:.

The Crooked Stamper: Remember SYFY?
http://thecrookedstamper.blogspot.com/2015/08/remember-syfy.html
CSSC Rules and Badges. Friday, August 7, 2015. Some of my longer-term readers may remember my SYFY feature. SYFY is Save Yourself From Yourself. It's my way of recovering from a boo-boo and not losing all my hard work. Sometimes I'll make a background I don't like, and it goes into the UFO box. It may not be pretty, but I could always die-cut something from it later. This time, though, I was making backgrounds ala this Faux Textured Metal Paper. No one, that's who! Oh, look, it's crooked . Which I turned...

The Crooked Stamper: Don't Judge Me
http://thecrookedstamper.blogspot.com/2010/11/dont-judge-me.html
CSSC Rules and Badges. Friday, November 12, 2010. Creative Avoidance has set in once again, and instead of making framed thingies for tomorrow's show, I am making a card for a challenge. To justify this, I also made 3 more to sell tomorrow. (so she says). The challenge du jour is the 100th Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge. Today's inspiration is Pride and Prejudice. Of course, I think of the version of the movie with the dreamy Colin Firth, but I digress. Most people will come up with normal. THAT is S...

The Crooked Stamper: Who Is Bobra?
http://thecrookedstamper.blogspot.com/p/who-is-bobra.html
CSSC Rules and Badges. Bobra is my cat, and he is no ordinary cat. He had a rough start in life, and that's why he's so special. That photo was taken by my pal Lydia. While Bobra was in her care. He was 6-8 months old at the time. To make a long story short, Bobra came to live with me, and he is the best cat ever. I think he's part dog, or part human. For a bit more background, you can read Lydia's post. I also have a few other posts, like this one. Where he meets squirrels. And this one. I share my crea...
