Paintings and Poems by Joanna Davies (Jo Davies) | About Jo
http://joannadavies.co.uk/about.html
I am a self-taught artist. I've always been interested in people and art, and so have brought the two together in my paintings. And I have written poetry since I was seven years old, so thought I would use this site to combine the paintings and the poems. Sometimes a poem I've written is an attempt to describe the feeling behind one of my paintings. Often the words come first. I am married to Dave. And have a son, Reuben. I work for Young Dementia UK. For putting this website together for me. x.

A lesser-known variant of delusion or hallucination, which can be experienced by some people with dementia. The challenge these symptoms pose to carers is how best to respond, in order to minimise distress? Broadly speaking, there are three approaches:. Reorientation: attempting to reassert the factual truth, to override the delusion. Collusion: accepting the delusion and going along with it. There are a...
